Candidate Research Summary
The candidate research services that we offer consistently identifies experienced candidates from your industry or allied industries who do not otherwise respond to help wanted advertising. Typically, these are the more accomplished individuals. Nevertheless, when an opportunity is presented properly, select individuals become candidates for the appropriate position openings.
We begin the process by determining exacting position responsibilities, requisite technical qualifications, and first year goals and objectives. At the same time, we become familiar with your products, and/or services and your organizational structure. We start our sourcing and networking process only after we have a total understanding of your particular needs. With your input, we will identify candidates from competitors, other allied and targeted industries that you feel are appropriate. Through our on line and extensive research capabilities, we are able to determine how many candidates may be available on a national, regional or local basis. We identify industry segments and business niches within a Standard Industrial Classification, i.e. Plastics Products, Not Elsewhere Classified has a Standard Industrial Classification Code of 3089; Injection Molding of Plastics is further classified as 3089-0609. |
After identifying targeted companies, we develop a presentation format to communicate your company's particular needs and selling points to potential candidates. We then contact industry sources and/or candidates directly without identifying your organization. Typically, we make 100-150 calls. From these efforts, we will identify 15-20 potential candidates and select 4-8 interested candidates best meeting the specifications outlined. Our final recommendation to you is supported by a mini resume profile of each candidate including other employment data presented by the candidates. The research process generally takes between 3 and 6 weeks. You and an associate would then complete the selection process through a brief telephone screening, followed by in depth personal interviews.
The fee for our candidate research services is solely for our professional efforts and is based on 20% of the estimated first year's income for the position (including base salary, estimated bonuses and car). Our non-refundable retainer fee is $5,000 and is due upon the start of this assignment. This retainer will be credited against the final fee. If any additional candidates are hired, now or in the future, we would also be entitled to an additional 20% fee per hire. RCE Associates absorbs all out of pocket expenses, i.e. telephone, research, and administration costs. Our clients are responsible for directly reimbursing candidate(s) for any travel and out of pocket expenses.
